Madrid Should be Scared of Barcelona - Reasons

With the upcoming classico looming closer every second now, an article is necessary.

Barcelona sit first on the La Liga table leading Madrid with four points and would be hoping to increase the gap to seven points this Saturday.

It won't be easy, given the fact they are playing at Madrid's home, but all hope isn't lost, besides this is football, and anything can happen. Here are the reasons Carlo Ancelottis men should expect the worst

1. Barcelona have been in good form in la liga this season, haven't not lost any game so far but drawn one game at the hands of Malaga. Madrid shouldn't expect Barcelona to be a pushover at all.

 2. Barcelona defense is better than that of last season. Last season Barcelona did not have a very good defense, with Pique declining, and Puyol almost unavailable. Now they have better defending options with Mathieu and Vermelean.

3. They have conceded no goals in La Liga this season, this being the result of the new defense which is pretty remarkable.

4. Luis Enrique rotates his squad and alternate formations. When he was appointed the coach of Barca, he promised he'll rotate his squad, and no one will miss out much of action time (Part of the reason Pedro decided to stay), and he is doing just that. Madrid shouldn't expect a particular starting 11 or formation.

5. Barcelona players can be deployed in different positions, as I Said Madrid shouldn't be expecting a defined sstarting XI or Formation; Matheiu can be deployed in LB or CB, Mascherano at CB or CDM, Iniesta as a forward or midfielder, and Suarez, Neymar and Messi, almost anywhere in the front line!

 6. Messi's hunting ground;  as we all know, Madrid fans are aware that Messi "loves" Santiago; scoring his first hatrick against them and hitting three goals in last seasons reverse fixture.

 7. Neymar-Messi Partnership; they understand themselves better than they did last season, with the combo scoring in Barcelona's last five games, and Messi assisting Neymar most of the time.

8. Suarez!!! His goal tally last season says it all, Madrid don't only have Messi and Neymar to keep an eye on, but also Suarez, or they will be left with scars to pounder on (no pun intended).
